The Awaiting Table, Cookery School in Lecce has put together an Olive Oil program which brings together many local cultural, agrarian richness, gastronomy aspects in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy, Puglia. You will be immersed in the study of olives and olive oil while taking part “in a grass-roots movement designed to protect this endangered Italian crop.”
The program, following the hands on practice and out of the ordinary line of The Awaiting Table courses, offers a multi-disciplinary approach and gives participants the possibility to:
- Meet the growers.
- Learn how to taste olive oil.
- Show the beauty of Puglia and the region’s richness.
- Teach you how to cook with it.
